What the world needs now is more lawyers. Eliza P. Brink, 25, will do her part to address that shortfall when she graduates from the University of California Hastings College of the Law this weekend. Hooray!

Congratulations to all of the Brink’s! We always welcome a new lawyer who hopefully has the spirit of “tikkun olam”–repairing the world. We could use much help right now.
Sorry, but the last thing the world needs now is another lawyer.
A friend of mine shared a statement he heard from one of his professors after his first day of Law School at Penn: “there are too many lawyers in the world, but not nearly enough good ones.” I’m sure that if your daughter represents her clients with the same zeal you bring to representing your constituents, Eliza will find herself among the happy minority in her profession. Congratulations! :)
